To experience transcendental reality you must have the burning desire to break free from a life of limitation and frustration. Burning desire or burning need is fundamental to achieve anything worthwhile. Absence of this type of desire or need results in man becoming inert.Most people never change their lot be it income level, occupation, or even beliefs because they lack a burning desire or need. Now why is it so? There could be several reasons but one main reason is lack of awareness.

Association plays a major role in creating awareness. In the Uddhava Gita( an anceint indian text containing the teachings of Lord Krishna) Lord Krishna has given, association with evolved minds, the highest priority. When you associate with liberal minds or knowledgable minds, there vision and there own heightened awareness rubs into you and you get attuned to the way of thinking that is necessary to develop a burning desire to go for higher and bigger goals. The worst thing to happen in anyones life is to get stuck with people who are inert. You dont have to look for them for they are found everywhere. When you associate with evolved beings, you will fortify yourself from the effects of the inert people around you and soon you will pull away from all of them and chart a new and higher course in life that will ultimately lead you on to everything that can be thought of as the best in life with transcendental reality as the crowning glory.
