How to Beat Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycaemia) Naturally

Low blood sugar (glucose), also known by its medical name of Hypoglycaemia can sometimes in its self be dangerous but it can also indicates an other serious medical condition such as liver or pancreas problems. Typically though, when someone is refer to as Hypoglycaemic, it means they are suffering from a collection of symptoms that occur after eating when the body overreacts to the rise in blood sugar, this overreaction causes the blood sugar levels to quickly fall, this process is typically called reactive hypoglycaemia. Amongst doctors, there is still debate as whether reactive hypoglycaemia actually exists or whether it is just low blood sugar levels or a psychological condition. The doctors which do believe that reactive hypoglycaemia is a genuine health condition found that typical symptoms are headaches, difficulty concentrating, fatigue, sweaty palms, shakiness, drowsiness, abdominal pain, excessive hunger, anxiety and depression.

A change in diet can help with reactive hypoglycaemia, avoid sugar, alcohol, caffeinated beverages such as coffee, tea and carbonated drinks and eat plenty of foods which are high in fibre and high-complex-carbohydrates such as vegetables, fruit, nuts, legumes and whole grains. If keeping to this diet does not help with your reactive hypoglycaemia some doctors have found that a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet may help, reactive hypoglycaemia has been found to be related to or made worst by food allergies, and it may be beneficial to look into food allergies if you are hypoglycaemic.
